About the Artist:
Originally from Hibbing, MN, Veronica moved to Grand Forks in 1979 to attend UND, unknowingly setting down lasting roots. A multi-media artist, she uses watercolor, beadwork, acrylic, pastels, and collage to craft deeply personal, narrative-driven works. Her art is both a creative outlet and a form of healing, shaped by her journey through depression, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. Inspired by everything from children’s book illustrations to music and current events, her intuitive process results in evocative, abstract works rich in emotion.
