About the Artist:
Originally from Mahnomen, MN, Jessica’s journey in art began at North Dakota State University, where she earned a degree in interior design and interior architecture. Her love for color and texture took on deeper meaning when she faced the challenges of chronic pain due to a complete spinal fusion from scoliosis. Rather than letting limitations define her, she turned to abstract art as an outlet for self-expression and healing. Her work is a reflection of her resilience, translating emotions and experiences into layered, textured compositions that invite viewers into her world.

This exhibition showcases Jessica’s mastery of color and texture, offering a glimpse into the evolving nature of her artistic journey. Each piece is a deeply personal exploration of beauty, strength, and transformation, drawing from her life experiences and the world around her.
